He began his career clerking for Judge Laurence Silberman on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, and for Justice Clarence Thomas on the U.S. Supreme Court. Later, he joined Sullivan & Cromwell in Los Angeles before relocating to the firm’s Palo Alto office.
Brendan is chairman of the Silicon Valley Campaign for Legal Services, a member of the Stanford Law School Board of Visitors, and serves on the Leadership Council of the Positive Coaching Alliance.
He and his wife, Lynn, have lived in Atherton for nine years and have two children. Brendan received his law degree from Stanford Law School and his B.A. from the University of Oregon.
